Pb&J Smoothie
Updated: Jul 1, 2020
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a staple in my home. It is our go-to sandwich for day-trips, picnics, or when we’re just feeling nostalgic.
Enjoy this timeless flavor in a delicious and refreshing smoothie! This smoothie is a good source of calcium, protein, antioxidants, and healthy fats. It’s quick and easy and makes a perfect breakfast, post-workout fuel, or a snack any time of day. Feel free to customize with what you have on hand.

Ingredients:
8-12 ounces of your favorite milk (for a thicker smoothie use the lower end)
1/2 cup your favorite frozen berries (I love freezing fresh berries I get this time of year)
½ banana, frozen (adding a frozen banana makes for a creamier texture and adds some sweetness. It's also a good source of potassium and vitamin B6)
1 scoop your favorite vanilla protein powder (can sub 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt)
1 tbsp your favorite natural peanut butter
1 tbsp chia or flax seeds (optional)
1 handful of spinach or kale (optional)
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a blender.
Blend until a smooth consistency.
Pour into your favorite cup or bottle.
Sip & enjoy!
